  My husband and I took a cruise on the Carnival Victory and decided to stay an extra day. We arrived at Miramar Sunday about 9:00 a.m. and were met by the owner at the curb; he helped with our luggage and called me by name. Check-in was not till 2 p.m. but he allowed us to check in early and even upgraded us to a handicapped room at no extra charge. The room was clean with a roll-in shower, microwave, safe, TV and comfortable beds. The owner also gave us valuable info where to catch a bus and trolley. The following Monday morning he gave us a wake-up call and called a taxi while the breakfast hostess packed some food to take on the plane. Only one negative-the ice machine next to our room-made a lot of noise when it replenished the ice reservoir, but that was a minor inconvenience compared to all the positive.

  The Hotel's location was somewhat of a downer. It was located under a bridge connecting to Old San Juan which made it hard for tour pickups. However there was a busstop across the road for only 75cents which was wonderful! Also being on a main street (Ponce De Leon Avenue) was a great access to shops, restaurants, banks, and other amenities. They offered only breakfast and the other meals were mediocre and very expensive- not authentic Puertorican food which would have been better. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Overrall- Good value for money.

  I got a good price on this hotel. I was charged an extra fee when I checked into the hotel. There is no parking at the hotel but the neighborhood is pretty safe. The hotel is in an up and coming area. The hotel next to it is in disrepair but up the road everything was being improved. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. The shower worked fine. I slept well. This is just a hotel for staying the night. Not a hotel for tourists. I was there visiting family and friends so it fit my needs.

  I got a good price on this hotel. I was charged an extra fee when I checked into the hotel. There is no parking at the hotel but the neighborhood is pretty safe. The hotel is in an up and coming area. The hotel next to it is in disrepair but up the road everything was being improved. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. The shower worked fine. I slept well. This is just a hotel for staying the night. Not a hotel for tourists. I was there visiting family and friends so it fit my needs.

  Front desk was friendly and mostly helpful.(the guys). the girls were mostly indifferent. waitress was unfriendly and rude. hotel itself is in a bad neighborhood. there is no pool. ...

  Front desk was friendly and mostly helpful.(the guys). The girls were mostly indifferent. Waitress was unfriendly and rude. Hotel itself is in a bad neighborhood. There is no pool. Surrounding buildings are falling down but they have been air-brushed out of the ad. No water pressure, bathtub wouldnt drain. Fixtures are old. Carpet is fraying and old, smells moldy. Restaurant is completely closed on Sundays have to take taxi elswhere. No local restaurants you would actually want to go into. No fitness center. Owners are nasty and rude and made anti-american remarks. Said they had a "smoking deck" but door was locked. Overall bad experience.
